After the French Open, we move on to the grass court season and the wonderful spectacle that is Wimbledon.
Arguably the most popular Grand Slam of the lot, the players will don their whites and compete in leafy SW19 on a surface which is loved by many and loathed by only a few!
Who’s going to win the 2015 Wimbledon titles?
You could do a lot worse than backing Novak Djokovic ASAP. He’s looked practically unstoppable at Roland Garros and should make short work of the opposition at SW19.
Djokovic looks on course (at the time of writing) to win a potential Grand Slam clean sweep in 2015, with Andy Murray and Roger Federer likely to present the biggest threat to this at Wimbledon. Don’t forget that Federer took him to five sets in last year’s final!
The women’s tournament looks far more competitive and you could make a case for a dozen players considering that Serena Williams has a habit of falling at the fourth round hurdle in this competition.
Maria Sharapova is always overrated at SW19 and it’s worth noting that she hasn’t won a Wimbledon title since her maiden victory in 2004.
Our tentative pick would be Petra Kvitova at this stage. The Czech claimed her second Wimbledon victory twelve months ago, with the grass surface suiting her power game from the baseline.
There are so many ways to approach Wimbledon from a betting point-of-view and it all starts when you register a new bookmaker account to enjoy tennis betting.
We recommend you try a few different bookmakers out. You will earn several bets from taking this approach and it will give you a chance to test out the operator and how good their tennis service is. Hopefully it will serve all the right aces!
