The total of 12 players from both sides will be missing from the Saturday’s clash at Vicarage Road between Watford and Arsenal.
The hosts will have to do without Chalobah, Hoban, Kaboul, Prodl and Cathcart whereas the visitors are without Cazorla, Chambers, and Mustafi, whereas Bielik, Koscielny, Welbeck and Ozil are also unlikely to feature.
All of the aforementioned players would otherwise have an important part to play in their respective teams which – in combination from international break discomfort – might be a good enough reason to go for a draw here.
Mind you, Watford and Arsenal haven’t seen a share of spoils in their last ten matches wince 1999 which might suggest we got this one completely wrong.
Arsenal’s four-match winning run in all competitions is not helping us either but we do believe that Arsene Wenger’s revelation that Gunners could end up selling Ozil and Sanchez in January could be enough to get inside the players’ heads and ruin the day on Saturday.
The Sun Bets, Sky bet, Coral and Betfair all offer a whopping 16/5 price on a draw here which we believe is highly overpriced.
So why don’t we take advantage of that?
