Premier League champions Chelsea bounced back nicely from their three-match unbeaten run that put plenty of pressure on manager Antonio Conte.
The Italian and his gruelling coaching methods were the subject of plenty of talk recently as his side faced increasing injury problems, but the Blues managed to calm the storm by back-to-back wins against Watford and Everton.
The Blues are coming off from a low-key Carabao Cup victory over out-of-form Everton but it is their 4-2 Premier League victory over Watford last weekend that has been a vital morale boost for Conte’s crowd.
The Blues pulled up their strength to claw back from going a goal down despite opening the scoring and will have Michy Batshuayi to thank for the 4-2 turnaround triumph.
The Belgian striker did well to replace the out-of-sorts Alvaro Morata by scoring a brace and sending a clear message to Antonio Conte. Batshuayi has earned something of a reputation of a super-sub, but the Italian manager is ready to reward him with another starting berth and that is something that should be exploited.
Batshuayi was a starter during the week but failed to get on the scoresheet but we feel he could be more fortunate this weekend and believe the price of 23/20 available with Coral is not to be missed.
